To  manufacture tooling and precision components using a variety of machinery. Both CNC and Manual based position. High variety within our growing company with career progression. Excellent package working a dayshift. 

This job will suit:

• Experienced or Apprentice trained Toolmaker / CNC Machinist with a keen eye for detail

• Skilled using CNC and Manual machines within a precision environment – Turning, milling, and surface grinding.

• Any exposure to injection moulding would be an advantage.

The job will involve:

• Manufacturing high precision components and tools, one offs and multiples
• Programming, setting, and operating CNC machines.

Time served manual machinist(mechanical engineering) of precision parts with a desire to move into CNC machining

• Computer literate

• Have maths and English O level or GCSE or exceptional proven machining skills

• Have good social and team skills and able to interact well with staff and customers

• Used to working to fine tolerances where surface finish and part quality are paramount

• Fully conversant with reading and understanding engineering drawings.

• Able to operate and show good experience of working more than one of the following machine tools: Centre Lathes, Milling machine, Vertical Borer, Jig Borer, Surface Grinding

• Must have good knowledge of tooling used on machines.

• Experienced in machining a variety of materials used in engineering.

  Full time position

We require an apprentice for our mechanical assembly room, building and servicing of our complex luxury products.

Minimum of GCSE  grade C maths and English
